If you're using joomla 1.5, u hav to use legacy mode i think. If you use joomla 1.0.xx
just install it like normal using the component installation.

you can download the component from
http://www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,com_extensions/page,show_extension/adid,1/catid,3/Itemid,67/

feel free to ask if you have any trouble

sorry for the late reply, had sometin to do

Its best you explain waht really happen during instalalation?
I didn't add any external pugin for yr info

i actually don't quite remember, its been a year since i installed it.
After you download it, unzip it first so you get some more zipped files
- com_fireboard
- plu_fireboard something like that

Go to install components and install the com_fireboard
Then I think it should be done for the first step

Why not ym me - zeman_700
its better that way

try downloading the 1.0.3 stable package cause i'm using this version for this website.
Just go to installation > components and install by selecting the zip files. then its done
